"A"

We see this every day when we leave the house. I always thought Ian was saying "Hey!" I realize now that he was, indeed saying "A"

"T"

This is the one that started this little adventure. We live in an old house and the floor slants a little. This rug is never without a wrinkle. I am looking forward to seing what other letters it can turn into...

"Y"

Here is one of the first observed letters.. It's amazing what you see when you get down to a child's level. This rubber tree has been in my family for as long as I can remember. It has come close to dying more than once.

the beginning

This all started when my son woke up from a nap and said, "Look mom, a T." I looked and looked and could not find the letter "T" anywhere. I asked him to show it to me. There, in the wrinkled, cowhide rug in his room was the letter "T" Thus, the hunt began. He is constantly pointing out things that are there, but not obvious. I have made it my goal for the next year to try and capture these discoveries in photos.
